Extrusion force of double roller press granulator is an important parameter for safe and stable operation of granulator. The pressure of double roller granulator directly affects the extrusion effect and quality of fertilizer granulation process. Therefore, the pressure regulation of roller press granulator is an important control parameter in the granulation process. Proper pressure can increase the output of fertilizer granulation, reduce energy consumption and prolong the service life of granulator.
The granulation mode of roller granulator is different from that of drum granulator. If the pressure of roller granulator is too small, there will be more gaps between fertilizer particles, which can not meet the pressure required for material extrusion, and dense filter cake will not be formed, which will affect the effect. If the pressure is too high, it is easy to cause “re polymerization” phenomenon between the material particles, which makes the filter cake difficult to disperse and classify, and will aggravate the wear and damage of roller surface and bearing.
According to the operation current of the main motor, the particle size of the material, grindability and the looseness of the filter cake, we choose the appropriate pressure to adjust the pressure of the roller granulator. The higher the current of roller extrusion granulation equipment is, the more work is completed and the higher granulation capacity of fertilizer is.
When the particle size of the material is large and the abradability is poor, the higher pressure can be properly controlled. When the pressure increases, no matter whether the observed current increases or not, if not, the extrusion pressure of the system has reached the upper limit and the pressure is invalid, so it should be adjusted to the original set pressure.
In the granulation process of the organic fertilizer making machine, when adjusting the pressure of the granulator, it is necessary to check the hydraulic system, side baffles and roll gap of the roller granulator, and pay attention to whether the control parameters are within the design range. Only by properly adjusting the pressure of the roller press granulator can the granulation achieve the expected effect and improve the fertilizer production efficiency in the fertilizer granulation process.
